The Siro kann bar is open from 10:00 to 23:30 LOR DISAB – PIROGUE BAR Enjoy the quirky feel of this bar, which is designed in the style of an old boat, as you relax on the beach and look out over the ocean. Lor Disab is open from 10:00 to 23:30 JUICE BAR Fresh fruit and vegetables await at the Juice Bar on the beach. We’ll blend a delicious drink just for you. All the produce is seasonal and grown locally, so it’s packed full of flavour. At extra cost. TEABAZ Mauritius is passionate about tea, so guests are invited to enjoy the self-service tea experience and try signature flavours such as cardamom and vanilla, produced by the local Corson Tea Estate. Beach Zilwa Attitude is built in an arc around a beautiful beach, Zilwa Attitude offers a breathtaking view on the 5 islands of the northern coast. Zilwa sits right on a postcard-perfect lagoon, with calm teal waters and incredible views of Coin de Mire. Rocky jetties split up sweeps of sand, giving Zilwa’s shoreline several distinct areas. Scattered about are chaise loungers under palapa umbrellas, beanbag beds, hammocks hanging between palms, and cushioned sofa beds under low shady trees.

Complimentary Water Activities Unlike many upscale resorts, Zilwa only offers non motorized water sports, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, lasers (mini sailboats), pedals, and windsurfing equipment (all free). Guests hoping to water ski might be disappointed, but this policy is in order to protect the lagoon. Pools 4 swimming pools (1 adult only 1m2 deep, 1 family 1m3 deep,1 kids 40cm deep and 1 at Lor Disab 1m3 deep) The main pool by reception is a tiered infinity pool with attractive tiling and incredible views of the lagoon and islands. The upper level is for adults only, while the lower level is open to families. The dedicated kids’ pool has a pebbly zero-entry edge, and the Lor Disab pool, down by the lagoon, has curvy amoeba shape and little palm-tree islands in its center.

Zilwa has two private islands in the lagoon, accessed via the hotel catamaran or by kayak: Gran Zil (“big island”), where barbecue lunches are held daily, and Ti Zil (“small island”), where two guests can have open-air massages. Both island excursions cost extra. The hotel also partners with a third-party diving center and kitesurf school, for a fee. Pirogue trip at sunrise At dawn, when the lagoon dresses in its most beautiful shades of blues and greens, get on board for a pirogue trip…Discover and share a fisherman’s life early in the morning. Unforgettable! What is included in your experience? Live a sunrise outing with a local fisherman on a traditional pirogue. Discover the lagoon Enjoy and share a light Mauritian breakfast on a nearby island. For this experience, each boat welcomes a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 guests, to maximize the experience of everyone. This excursion is organized in partnership with the local community of Kalodyne. Time: departure is at 5.30 am from Zilwa Attitude beach, return at the hotel around 7 am. Booking: Bookings are compulsory and need to be arranged at least 48 hrs prior at Reception. Subject to availability.
