A guide will walk you around during your visit and will guide you on the history, stories and tales of all the sites. It is a trip that will take you back in time to the first days of Mauritius with its rich colonial history and you will get a chance to learn about the importance of tea productions in Mauritius.

Le Domaine des Aubineaux

• Discover a great collection of photos of colonial houses and learn about the Tea Industry
• Visit the Camphor tree garden, trees of the endemic forest, and enjoy the beautiful sights of the tea plantation
• You will also visit the old stable turned into a distillery, where the secrets of the distillation of essential oils will be revealed to you

Le Domaine de Bois Chéri

• Learn about the tea production process at the factory (the old machines, 19th century, photos, tables and documents)
• A walk in the tea plantation thus discovering the history, stories and tales of the Bois Chéri along with the importance of tea productions in Mauritius.
• Visit to the tea museum and tea tasting accompanied with delicious biscuits at the chalet.

Le Domaine de Saint-Aubin

• You will learn about the estate that produces sugar cane which is then processed to make sugar as well as delicious rum
• Discover the anthurium flowers and vanilla greenhouses, a botanical trail
• Opportunity to stroll in the tropical and spice garden
• Access to the mini-farm where you will be able to interact with animals and birds including fawns, chicks and peacocks among others.

You will end your tour with a special Mauritian lunch at the highly recommended restaurant of “Le Saint Aubin”.
