• Note that this activity is not offered on Sundays and Public Holidays.
• Reservation must be done and confirmed at least 48 Hours in advance. The exact time slot will be confirmed when booking for the Sunset Horse Ride.
• It is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before your activity in order to complete some formalities, receive equipment and determine your riding level.
• Mauritian ID card or Resident permit must be shown upon arrival.
• This activity is suitable for all levels, including those with no prior horse riding experience. Only experienced riders will be allowed to gallop with horses.
• You will be accompanied by a professional team member on foot or on horse depending on the level of rider and to ensure safety for the entire ride.

• Weight restriction: Participants must have a maximum weight of 95 kg.

What to expect during the 1-Hour Horse Ride in Riambel

• Horse riding is an activity that is both inspiring and beautiful! Reconnect with nature and ditch the urban living for a moment of serenity.
• Besides being able to ride these gracious creatures, you will be able to enjoy privacy and intimacy on the beautiful secluded beach and you will get to admire a breathtaking sunset.
• This trip is available for both a beginner or an experienced rider. There will be a 15 minutes lesson prior to the ride. Only experienced riders will be allowed to gallop with horses.
• The leisurely paced horseback ride will take you along the beach of Riambel - enjoy the gentle sounds of waves lapping the shore, feel the cool sea breeze in your hair and take in the spectacular sunset views with the sky turning in pretty hues of orange and pink.
• Be sure to bring your phone or camera with you so you can capture this unforgettable moment. The guides will be more than happy to assist you get the perfect shot.
• Professional guides will accompany you all the way ensuring maximum safety. And you don’t need to worry about your health and safety since sanitary measures are put in place. So just relax and enjoy the magical ride.

• Temperature will be checked at the entrance and if temperature is more than 37.5 Celsius, we reserve the right not to allow access to our premises and cancel the ride.
• Staff will wear a protective mask for your security. Masks will not be compulsory when horse riding.Sanitizers will be provided. Please use it before horse-riding and after horse riding.
• Riding helmets will be disinfected before use.
• Social and physical distancing rules are already applied when horse riding.
• There will be limited access to the number of persons in the premises.
• Groups will not be mixed when doing horse riding: only personalized sessions for couples, families or groups of friends

Levels Of Riding Ability

• Total Beginner - Total beginners may have been on a "trail ride" once or twice but they do not know general horse handling or the basic commands to make the horse move forward, turn, trot, stop and back unassisted.
• Novice - Novice riders have some pretty basic experience with horses, they can catch, halter, groom, saddle and bridle a horse by themselves. They can mount and ride off unassisted.
• Intermediate - The intermediate rider has taken lessons or trained under a mentor for a while. He or she has ridden several different types of horses and can independently manage a horse’s care.

About the Stable

The Centre has a small rustic stable of 10 horses and 1 pony. Situated amidst the sugarcane fields and close to the beach, the horses are reared in a friendly atmosphere. The stable accommodates both beginners and experienced riders. Rides are personalised and adapted to the level of the rider, ensuring maximum security during their excursion on the beach.
