The "L’ambiance Mauricien" will resound at the J&J Auditorium on 5 August. From "Problem Kari" to "Dhobi de klas" and "Bal Matapant", the finest songs by sega legend Jean-Claude Gaspard will be on show.

His two children, Denis Claude Gaspard and Mary Jane Gaspard, along with a host of artists including Gérard Louis, Nancy Dérougère, Steve Augustin and Renel Trapu, will set the stage ablaze with their renditions of Jean-Claude Gaspard's finest songs. Every note will be an irresistible call to kick back and enjoy a good sega.

The artists taking to the stage will enchant you with the anecdotal, festive and sometimes ironic, even mischievous songs of Jean Claude Gaspard.

Denis Claude Gaspard is the heir to Mauritian sega legend Jean-Claude Gaspard. Like father, like son! Denis Claude is a carbon copy of Jean-Claude. From the hips to the vocals, Denis Claude Gaspard conveys his passion for the sega just like his father did. On stage, he’s a bundle of energy.

Mary Jane Gaspard

Daughter of Jean-Claude Gaspard, king of the sega, Mary Jane Gaspard has sega in her blood. “Simplement Kamarad”, “Choisir” and “Defouler” are all part of the repertoire of this artist with a singular voice. And on stage, her good humour is contagious. As well as being a very popular singer, she is a passionate radio presenter.
