PS Events presents "Kailash Kher and his band Kailasa Live In Concert" on Friday, 1st February 2019, at the Trianon Convention Center.
Kher is one of the most popular Indian playback singers, known for his powerful voice, unique style and energetic music. His first concert in Mauritius was sold out and a huge success. The singer is back to enchant his local fans with his melodious voice and incredible musical repertoire again.
Accompanied by his band Kailasa, Kailash Kher will give a very energetic live performance of several of his popular songs as well as his new tracks, including "Saiyaan", "Teri Deewani", "Ya Rabba" and songs of the Hindi version of the Indian epic film Baahubali. The band, Kalaisa, has given concerts in over 100 cities worldwide from Ahmedabad, Delhi, Mumbai, New York, San Francisco, and Houston among others.

Kailash Kher is known for his Sufi and folk music. His claim to fame came very quickly as his song Allah Ke Bande for the 2003 movie Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II became far more successful than the film and he became a household name. The song also won him the Best Male Playback Singer Award at the 2004 Star Screen Awards.
By 2004, he performed over 150 Hindi film soundtracks and sung in over eighteen languages in various regional films, and recorded more than 500 radio and Television advertising jingles. Some of the languages he sings in are Bengali, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu, among others.
He has been honoured with the Padma Shri award in 2017 by the Government of India. He is the recipient of two trophies of the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer from the Bollywood movie Fanaa (2006), and the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer - Telugu from the Telugu film Mirchi (2013), along with several other nominations.
