Beautiful place I had lunch with my family at Les Trois Cornichons and really enjoyed. Great place for nature lovers :) Food was good, drinks were fine and service was perfect. I didn't get to try cocktails and I drank only an Italian white wine, but I'll definitely go back to enjoy more drinks next time. We also took a walk to Mare Longue reservoir, a short and easy hike.

Sunday retreat Was really an amazing experience - the rooms were super cozy and the food was great. The road to the domaine is rocky but it builds up all for the excitement to go to someplace far from all the buzz. Will definitely go again.

Nice place Its a very nice place. The concept is really amazing. The people are very charming and friendly. The only negative aspect is how to get there. The road is not made for cars as its muddy and rocky. But once you get there,its a peaceful place. Perfect for those who want peace of mind..

Tried restaurant We didn't stay at this hotel but had lunch at the restaurant of the hotel. For 600 Mauritian rupees, you get appetizers, a main dish with rice and sides like beans or vegetables, accompanied by an array of condiments, and a dessert. They specialize in deer and wild boar but also serve chicken, fish and seafood. The food is cooked in sauces like civet (classic French preparation), curry, creamy tomato, spicy tomato or vindaye. We tried all but the vindaye. all good and would especially recommend the curry and spicy tomato. The food is simple but well done, fresh and delicious. The local-style appetizers, namely fritters, were freshly fried. The condiments taste homemade. Didn't try but I imagine the deer curry would be very good. Our party of four enjoyed every part of our meal. Portions are generous. Local cuisine in a green and relaxing ambiance. The lady serving us was also very obliging and friendly. We had a look at the bungalows. Spacious and good quality furnishings. A hike around the lake is part of the package. Seems like a good deal, and we would definitely stay here on our next trip. I think it offers a nice change from the beaches and a peaceful, intimate (there are only five bungalows) chalet experience in the midst of nature.

Far From The Madding Crowd Never been there before. The road to Mare Longue from the main road ( to Grand Bassin).is a narrow one and very bumpy…and it took about 8 minutes to cover the 2 km to the Domaine. The cottage…it’s all wood….and all the furniture also…very rustic surrounded by trees and green bushes and flowers … No television. Better forget about Wi-Fi ( though we have it there)…complete silence. Only the songs of birds, the sound of rain and wind through the trees… …reading some pages from an inspiring book…writing ….or playing some games like scrabble while sipping some beverage…total peace
