Taste the yummy Mauritian lunch served at the Chazal restaurant- this is the place which provides great food, relaxation and a fantastic view of the natural surroundings.
Chazal cultivates vegetables, herbs and picks fruits from the orchard to offer fresh juices, or prepare home-made marmalade. Every morning, the team of cuisine wanders into the garden to pick vegetables and herbs essential to their successful menu.

The tents are really well equipped, perfect definition of glamping. Waking up in the middle of such natural beauty is priceless. So remote and away from it all but enough create comforts and hospitality to keep you connected. Accommodation was authentic and fun yet really comfortable and the staff had gone the extra mile to keep us comfortable and well fed. Lots for kids and adults alike to do. Disliked · Nothing.

Nice glamping concept! The staff members were extremely and informative. Food was delicious . Rich flora and fauna on the property. We were to encounter wild boars , deers , monkeys and maritius parakeets.

Wonderful custom service and deep sleep at the gentle rhythm of the frogs and other forest symphony instruments. Much better than the madness of loud music in absolutely all places i have been on the coast. all staff at Chazal are friendly and caring. you will feel at home and relaxed. highly recommend to see this other side of Mauritius.

We stayed at the glamping tents of Chazal for a weekend, and it was a delight. Sleeping and waking up with the river makes up for a lot of your experience there. The atmosphere is very peaceful and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed doing independent hikes within the domain during our free time and hanging around the nepalese bridge, which was for us a huge hammock. It is worth noting that water is heated with solar panels, so it is not guaranteed that you'll get warm showers every time (we didn't). Also, the tent felt quite hot when we woke up, so I'd be cautious to book this place mostly during the fresher months of Mauritius (Apr - Sep). Thankfully, as soon as we opened all windows and doors the air flowed blissfully. If you enjoy simple / active holidays in nature, you will definitely enjoy staying at this place during your time in the South of Mauritius. Recommended!
