Half Day Sightseeing Excursion Visiting Key Places of Rodrigues: - What to expect

• Set off early in the morning for your discovery trip. Your chauffeur will pick you up from your place of accommodation so you can just sit back, relax and not worry about a thing.
• You can choose to visit the lively capital of the island, Port Mathurin, and explore the local crafts and food market, the Port Mathurin Market.
• Drive by the north coast and its beautiful beaches before stopping at Cascade Pistache to admire its breathtaking waterfall.
• Visit the striking cathedral at St Gabriel which was built during the British colonial rule or visit the historical site of Marie, Reine de Rodrigues, which is also a gathering place for the Catholics of the island.
• Choose to enjoy the stunning views at Mont Limon followed by an exciting trek to Trou D’argent in order to access the lovely cove beach of the Trou D’argent beach.
• You can choose a drive along the 52 Contours road offering panoramic views of the lagoon.
• Lunch is not included but can be arranged at local places and restaurants where you can try out the delicious and unique Rodriguan cuisine.
• Optional activities are offered such as visits to Francois Leguat Tortoise Natural Reserve or to Caverne Patate, Zipline at Montage Malgache and the Suspension Bridge at Pistache. You can choose any of these optional activities during your half day budget tour, just remember that you have to pay an entrance ticket fee onsite.
• At the end of your exciting tour, your chauffeur will drop you back to your place of accomodation.
