Deals.mu has the extreme pleasure to offer a specially designed, full day Big Game Fishing trip on a private or shared basis.

The Full Day Big Game Fishing Activity - What to expect:

• A new fishing adventure begins with a pre-departure briefing and a warm welcome from the professional crew members on board.
• You will have the opportunity to cruise inside the Tamarin Bay and may encounter dolphins.
• The experienced crew combines their skills to set up the perfect lines, best suited to that day’s fishing conditions.
• The 50ft boat is one of the biggest in Mauritius, offering better comfort and a higher level of service to our clients.
• At around noon, the boat will cruise from the deep sea back to the lagoon taking a break from the fishing activity.
• For the second part of the journey, there will be a stop for a snorkeling break along the coral reefs, where you can also enjoy a swim in the sea, or enjoy the sun and drinks onboard.
• A delicious BBQ lunch will be served on board accompanied with a selection of both soft drinks and alcoholic drinks.
• Moreover, you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Black River mountain range, and of the magnificent Le Morne Mountain and the beautiful Le Morne peninsula on the way back.

Minimum age requirement: Children of any age are allowed to go on this activity, however as it is a long journey and the fishing is done out in the Deep sea, our recommendation for this activity is as from the age of 5 years old

About the 42ft Fishing Boat

The 42-ft fishing vessel is equipped with 2 Caterpillar Diesel engines of 210hp each. The number of people aboard the boat for the trip is 10 - consisting of 2 boat skippers and 8 guests/ participants who will enjoy the most comfortable fishing outing.

• Boat size: 42-feet
• Navigation equipment: GPS, Compass Offshore, Sondeur
• Communication equipment: VHF Radio
• Cartograph: Garmin
• Safety equipment: Life jackets, Life buoys, medical box, fire extinguishers, anchor, automatic and manual water pump
• Fishing equipment: Penn International reels (typically a selection of 130 lbs, 80 lbs and 50 lbs), harness, bucket, gaff, 2 units of outriggers, 3 fighting chairs, 9 fishing rod holders and wide choice of lures and exciters.
• Other equipment: 1 BBQ Grill, 1 double room, 1 single room, 1 shower unit and 1 WC. Should you have any particular preferences regarding reels or the fishing line’s breaking strain, let us know as we have a large stock of equipment from which to draw. We are passionate about fishing and can easily cater for the most fanatical of anglers. We will just need an advanced request to prepare.

About the 50ft Fishing Boat

The 50-ft fishing vessel is equipped with 2 Yanmar Diesel engines of 370hp each. The number of people aboard the boat for the trip is 15 - consisting of 1 boat skipper, 2 staff members and 12 guests/ participants who will enjoy the most comfortable fishing outing. The main deck is spacious enough to effortlessly fit your prize catch and also offers seating on the fly bridge for elevated views of the surroundings. Just relax and take it all in!
