Located in the Southernmost tip of Mauritius, Andrea Lodges is nestled in a completely serene environment, between the gorge of the Anguilles River and an impressive black basalt cliff top overlooking the sea.
Ensconce yourself comfortably in your chalet and enjoy the intimate and peaceful atmosphere that reigns. The lodge is equipped with mosquito nets, tea and coffee making facilities, an en-suite shower lodge, and many other facilities for your convenience. Each chalet has a private terrace where guests can sit and admire the picturesque views and soak up the tranquility of the location.
Benefits of staying at Andrea Lodges
As part of this package you will also benefit from a free excursion (self guided) to La Roche Qui Pleure which is situated at Gris-Gris. Due to the lack of coral in the surrounding water, the powerful waves crash into the basaltic cliffs, causing an illusion of the rocks weeping. Take in the mystic sight, leave all your cares behind momentarily and feel the ocean spray upon your face.
You can also swim leisurely at the main pool which is found near the restaurant. The swimming pool offers an incredible ocean view; this is where you can relax and let go. If you wish for some more fun adventures you can opt the quad bike or archery at an extra cost.
The thatched roof restaurant overlooks unique nature views and welcomes guests with its delicious local meals that can be taken in the dining area. At breakfast there is a choice of either a full English or Continental meal. Dinner is a set 3-course meal.

Liked · An all round wonderful experience! Stunning view from our room on what we found to be the most scenic part of the island. Very attentive staff, especially the chef is is a passionate cook. Yes, it’s a little out the way which for us is another good reason to stay here. Also a lovely location for some excellent walks. Wish we had stayed longer.

If you have the choice, ask for the lodges which gives you a view on the sea. simply breathtaking, with its wide windows the view from the room is simply amazing and gives you a sense of comfort which outweighs the lack of facilities available. No TV no problem, with that kind of view, bearing in mind that if you do choose Andrea Lodge it is to connect closer to nature and not be stuck watching tv or be on your phone. Choose Lodge 5 to 10 if you want the beach view. .. The walks are easily accessible. If you have time and fancy doing the hike to cascade leon, you must. We had Anil as Guide and he was very instructive, the free jacuzzi therapy which comes with the hike is soothing to your body and mind. Disliked · Give it another year it would need big maintenance.

The view from the room was breathtaking. The sea with crushing waves .. very quiet, nice hike along the cliffs. The food is quite amazing. Disliked · The room is a bit dated. The road to get there is a bit bumpy through the fields.

Lovely friendly welcome by staff on our late arrival. Three course dinner was simple but elegant. Woke up to wonderful cliff and ocean views from our room. Great walk to Leon waterfall with Anil after breakfast. Shame we only had one night...

Liked · The view from our room was fantastic..crashing waves at night was such a good therapy, made me sleep like a baby lolz????breakfast was awesome...and also nice staff there very helpful and welcoming all times.. our guide was very nice guy..we did learn many things from him in the nature and waterfalls.. Disliked · We like everything and had a very warm stay..hhmm except dinner bit expensive but food was awesome..
